Taking photos of another photographer (and a bloody amazing one at that) is always an honour, even to be recommended by another fellow photographer to do the photoshoot was great.
Anyhow, it was just a short drive over to Ann Wo’s house in Maidenhead for their family lifestyle photoshoot. Ann has three kids like me and wanted relaxed, playful photographs. She didn’t require individual photographs as she’s more than capable of that herself, so it was literally just the whole family play, play and even more playing.
I instantly fell in love with her children who, just like their parents have a real easy going vibe to them. I also fell in love with the ‘stay in bed’ artwork on her bedroom wall and it has got me thinking more about the blank wall that’s itching to be decorated in my own bedroom at home.
After bundling on the bed got a little too much for the littlest, we stopped for a break. I fed the two eldest Oreos and then we braved the winter temperature for a few outdoor portraits, and although I usually never shoot at midday, thankfully it was completely overcast and we totally lucked out. So much so Ann has upgraded to have her whole gallery and has rebooked for a couple of months time for a sunset photoshoot! Awesome.
