A thundery outdoor photoshoot in Berkshire

Family and newborn photographer, mum of three, wife of one and tea obsessed eneagram eight.

I find a lot of inspiration in the weather, its speaks to me like a language of its own, I think it has its own emotions and I love it when it is perfectly matches with a client.

This session it thundered. Like grumbly loud thunder. It didn’t rain. The skies were dark grey, but the sunset was burning strongly right behind them smothering the daisy field like a warm blanket. There was a sense anticipation in the air, electricity almost, and of course that mother natures glow, you simply can’t recreate it.

Can you see how this can be likened to human emotion? I could pinterest quote you for days about the beauty of thunderstorms and positivity and strength. But I’ll let you have a think about how this relates to a mother and her son, the two of them against the world. Motherhood.
