This gorgeous family came from London to visit me for a family photo shoot in the Bracknell forest heather. One of the best parts about Bracknell, Berkshire and the length of time i’ve lived here (37 years!) is that there are so many diverse places to photograph. I know them all very well and keep finding new areas and angles each year.

A Family photo shoot in the Bracknell forest heather starts around early to mid August and continue up until later September. It’s a huge bloom window and as you can see full of colour.  In August the sunset sessions start around 6-630pm and the move to as early as 5pm start by later September.

The amazing family, who feature in this shoot, were dressed perfectly for the backdrop of forest colours. They were an absolute pleasure to photograph! I absolutely adore it when i have a family who are so naturally affectionate to each other. The cuddles and laughs where plentiful and the children adored the dedicated time with their parents just ‘doing them’.

During October and November the coloured heathers fade away. The burnt orange coloured ferns appear and the sunset sets lower through the Forest pines and fir trees. Take a look at some of my other forest sessions here  If you’d like to visit a similar area to this Family photo shoot in the Bracknell forest heather, a great place to go is the nearby The Look Out Discovery Park

You can pop your name down on my wait list for this year for a family forest session or book in early for next year, i’d love to hear from you.
