QUESTIONS
What are the timings?
- Arrive Monday 28th September from 5pm
- Welcome dinner at 7pm (an important part of the retreat, introductions, connections etc)
- Accommodation includes Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th. Although you are welcome to leave early on Wednesday evening if you wish.
- Check out is by 9am, October 1st
I’m not sure if now is the right time…?
I completely understand the hesitation, investing in yourself and your business can feel uncomfortable, especially when things are going “okay” already. But this experience is designed to be transformational: giving you fresh confidence, practical strategies that actually move things forward, and accountability to keep you on track.
Just as important, you’ll be surrounded by doers and positive, growth-minded photographers the kind of community that lifts the bar and helps you lift yours too.
To make things easier, payment plans are available. You can spread the cost over three months, or extend to five months on request. Instalment dates are flexible too you choose what works for you, rather than being tied to your booking date.
What level is this for?
This isn’t about the basics . It’s for photographers who already have solid foundations, usually with a couple of years of clients behind them and the essentials in place.
Maybe things are ticking along “okay” but you’re ready for more. Or perhaps you’re a wedding photographer wanting to expand into families, or a studio photographer curious about in-home or lifestyle work.
It’s about deepening your brand, being stretched in the best ways in a safe space, and sitting down for inspiring peer-to-peer talks about your goals and the steps to get there. It’s about finding freshness in your work, seeing new possibilities through the eyes of others, and pressing reset on your next chapter with the bonus of a portfolio refresh that feels completely you.
You don’t have to do things a certain way to belong here. However you take things on, you’ll find encouragement and space to move forward on your terms.

Where is the retreat?
Set within a private estate in the Cotswolds, this bold, design-led country house has a clear 1970s influence and a laid-back luxe feel. Warm woods, curved lines and sunlit interiors make it a genuinely special space to create together ideal for producing epic portfolio images that still feel approachable and real.
The house has been carefully chosen to give us space to work well during the day, and properly switch off in the evenings. There’s room to spread out, talk, edit, reset, eat together, and carry conversations on long after the laptops are closed.
Getting here
Charlbury is the nearest well-connected train station, with direct trains from London Paddington taking around 1 hour 20, and direct trains from Oxford taking around 20 minutes. Oxford itself is a major rail hub, with frequent mainline connections from across the UK. From Charlbury station, the location is approximately 6 miles away, around a 15-minute taxi ride. Parking is available on site for those driving.
