It’s not often as a family photographer and after having 3 children that I get taught new tricks, but this gorgeous lady did just that during this sunset family photoshoot.
Now, I’m all for the whole “oooo be careful of the woodland keeper” line when the kids have gone a bit feral, but she took it somewhere else… Call it method acting or whatever… but it bloody worked. We had some bubbles out mid photoshoot for a break and as with most 2 year olds convincing them to give the bubbles up is near impossible. We tried the “oops the woodland keeper won’t like the floor getting too bubbly” line, but then Sian started talking to a bush.
And that’s when I got a little confused. You see, I 100% thought she was talking to someone in the actual bush – it was that good!
I know the ‘woodland keeper’ is not real (unless you work for the Forestry Commission) But her flawless acting skills completely caught me by surprise and I found myself looking in the direction she was shouting towards in a slightly confused way, similarly to Jackson (her two year old) The penny then dropped and I realised she was in fact doing one of the best Mummy tricks I’ve seen in a while.
So I joined in… “Sorry Mr Woodland keeper, what’s that? yes? Oh! ok!, Yes certainly. Jackson, quickly! Mr Woodland keeper wants us to put the bubbles away and run down to the bottom of the field!”
Sian you my dear are a genius and could certainly give most film stars a run for their money! I hope you enjoy the gallery everyone. (and yes that’s all her own hair – swoon!)
