I adore it when I’m recommended by other clients and have subsequent new bookings! This lovely new family are very close friends of a long term client of mine and It felt so natural when I walked into their home for the first time.

They were as excited to meet me as I was them and we literally clicked (pardon the pun) like we had know each other for years already. We shot in mainly one bedroom with a small amount of natural window light and space, this was all we needed though. I love the expression and connection I captured during this newborn photoshoot.

Although I clearly do direct and suggest certain ideas, ensuring that my clients feel comfortable and relaxed enough to connect with each other and produce authentic expressions is key.

I talk a lot, I pause when is needed, and we spend the time focusing on what is important, family.

I wanted to share this newborn photoshoot because simply it makes my heart sing when I see their expressions and that afterall is what good photography should do, make you feel something.
