This family, wow. What can I say?! They epitomise the sort of people that you desperately want to have a Roast Dinner with and a glass of wine. I loved every minute of my time with them in their dreamy home.

Jemma had contacted me through Instgram and enquired about a session with me midway through her preganancy. As a family they were already going through a house rennovation but they fully appreciated that this should not distract and take away from capturing this precious time with their new baby Bloom.

After all, what are you going to look back on in 50 years time, the amazing radiator you purchased and the beautiful sofa? Or irreplacable photographs of that time when they became a family of five? Sofa’s and Radiators are fogettable and replacable, this time and the way that you feel when you are in it is not. It really puts it all into perspective when you think of it like that doesn’t it!?

Anyhow, Jemma’s older girls were wonderful to work with and gave me so much to work with! They played about jumping all over the place and showing me their rooms we had such a fun time and I think I really captured the essence of their family. They are perfect unit of  loveliness and I would certainly adore to repeat our unicorns head games with them a million times over!  We. Had. A Blast.

” I was so unprepared for the shoot, in the fog of new born baby & house move in mode. Having not lived at home for over 3months, it was a crazy time. Child birth, renovation work, moving all our furniture from storage back to home. Tom travelling for work. 3 kids. Willows birthday. Half term. Homeless ????…. as you can imagine we had a lot going on but I wanted the challenge of some newborn photos taken too ???????? disorganised for the shoot was quite an understatement ????.

This is where @andthensheclicked stepped in, she captured it all & made amazing things happen!!
It’s one thing them doing it & it’s another thing actually being able to capture the moments!
