This wild and free childrens photoshoot in the forest during September was an absolute dream. Jaiyan and Maiya, were so fun to shoot and really playful with each other plus excited to play games with me – the perfect combination.

September session usually start around 530pm and so can still be sneaked in afterschool! They spent the majority of the session in fits of giggles and needed no encouragement to leap onto the log piles and play with the ferns. They even calmed down for a sweet and natural cuddle at the end.

When I just photograph children I always make sure I sneak a peak at the parents. It fills my cup to see proud mums and dads with beaming smiles watching their children have THE best time with me. School age kids love staying up until the sun goes down and I certainly think these two will remember these moments forever.
