A mother and child photoshoot… Yes, let’s celebrate this unwavering bond.

As a mama to three children of similar ages, I’m very familiar with having an ‘older one’ that’s almost the same height as me. But, no matter what size they are, what temperament, or what vibe they bring, I always do everything in my power to bring out the best in them.

Whether this takes 2 minutes, 20 minutes or even 40 minutes, rest assure I understand how to talk to kids. I know how to get the best versions of them and how to handle a huge variety of sibling dynamics.

I’ve been a specialist family photographer for 10 years and a mother for 12 and whilst i agree that these little humans are all unique, I am also a strong believer that they all want the same thing on a base level, heaps of positive attention, fun and love and during any type of photoshoot with me this is exactly what they are going to receive – from both of us!

I know how is feels to have 6 hands to hold, i’ll anticipate your juggle.  I’ll also help keep them entertained and most importantly interested IN you.

As a mother i want to help not just celebrate them, but the connection you have with them and your relationship together.  I know exactly how your heart tugs in different directions and how it feels so full and at the same time so sad that these little people are growing up so fast.

This mother and child photoshoot below with Morgan is one of my faves from this summer of 2022. The way Morgans eldest switched from being a cool pre-teen into a playful mummies boy when we began having piggy backs, it’s a moment I’ll never forget.
