At home lifestyle photography: Capturing the heart of your home

The walls of your home will be part of your child’s memories forever. So why would they not be part of your family photos too?

If you are anything like me, you have created a home with intention. You have thought deeply about the wallpaper that sparks their imagination, the colours that feel uplifting, the little corners filled with love and care where childhood unfolds day by day.

That is why at-home lifestyle photography always feels different. No one else can replicate your space, your magic, your people. The most heartfelt galleries hold more than faces, they hold the feeling of home.

Even the sofas. The “good” one you swore they would never be allowed to jump on, and the cosy one where they always pile in for snuggles. Years from now, those are the places you will remember most.

At home lifestyle photography is deliberate, but it feels warm, effortless, and heaped with future nostalgia. It is about shaping light, guiding play, and creating scenes in the spaces you have poured so much care into, until your ordinary moments look and feel like art.

When you are 80 years old, it will not just be their faces you remember. It will be the rooms, the colours, the textures, the sense of place that held your family as they grew.

This gallery is just one example of an in-home family photoshoot. It was not a newborn session, because every chapter counts. Toddlers climbing onto window seats, bigger kids sprawled on the sofa, teenagers leaning on the kitchen counter. Whatever stage your family is at right now, it is worth celebrating.

The Freedom to Travel

I love creating in homes that feel loved and lived in, and I am lucky enough to travel widely for sessions. From London apartments filled with city light, to quintessentially English houses in the Home Counties, and all the way to timeless cottages and airy family homes across the Cotswolds, every home tells a different story. Each region brings its own charm.

  • London offers sleek interiors, bustling energy, and the warmth of a family home tucked above city streets.
  • The Home Counties are full of leafy lanes, cosy corners, and homes that balance character with contemporary living.
  • The Cotswolds deliver exposed beams, light filled kitchens, and gardens where children can play and memories grow.

No matter the postcode, my aim is the same: to capture your family and your home together, creating photographs that feel like they have always belonged there.

Your Signature Session

Although I am a family photographer based in Bracknell, I am often asked to travel because when people connect with my work, location becomes secondary. My Signature Chapter Sessions include travel within 100 miles without any additional fees, so whether you are in London, the Home Counties, or the Cotswolds, you can book with ease.

Signature also gives you the option to enjoy both an in-home family photoshoot and an outdoor session in one. Allowing you to blend the intimacy of your everyday spaces with the beauty of the landscape around you.

If you feel connected to how I see the world through my lens, and you are ready for family photos that feel like they could only belong to you. Let us plan your own in-home family photoshoot. Together we will create photographs that celebrate your family, your home, and this chapter of your story.
